Advancing U.P. Health
Purpose
The intent of this grant program is to assist organizations in the Upper Peninsula to purchase necessary health-related equipment that will benefit the health and well-being of U.P. residents. Examples include, but are not limited to, equipment that will:
Address the health technology needs of an organization to improve service delivery
Improve health-related transportation
Improve treatment processes for patients or clients
Improve accessibility
Assist with health-related program expansion
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Any tax-exempt organization based in the Upper Peninsula working to improve health outcomes in the region, with preference given to grassroots organizations, tribal communities, and small and medium-sized nonprofits.
Please note: AED requests will no longer be considered under the equipment grant program.
Application Process
Step 1
Schedule a concept call or submit a concept paper to share your project idea with SHF. Click here to schedule a call with us to discuss your project idea with Program Officer Nicky Bates, or email a one-pager to nbates@shfmi.org.
