Rx Kids in the Upper Peninsula

Expanding the nation's first community-wide prenatal and infant cash prescription program across the UP

Rx Kids is the nation's first-ever community-wide prenatal and infant cash prescription program, providing $1,500 during pregnancy and $500 monthly during baby's first six months.

Launched in Flint in January 2024, Rx Kids has already demonstrated life-changing impact for families during the most economically vulnerable and developmentally important time in a child's life.

Superior Health Foundation serves as the regional fiduciary for the Rx Kids Upper Peninsula, and is thrilled to play a critical role in an innovative and impactful program that aligns so closely with our mission, vision and strategic goals.

We need your support to bring this program to all pregnant people in the UP, providing life-changing financial security during pregnancy and throughout the baby’s first six months of life.
