A New Approach to Recuperative Care in Marquette

People experiencing homelessness are often discharged from the hospital with nowhere to go and no way to recover from surgery, amputation, or other serious medical needs. Room at the Inn in Marquette is working to close that gap, building a recuperative care model for the region with support in part from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation, and Superior Health Foundation.
