SHF Elects Holly Peoples to Board of Directors

Holly Peoples of Gladstone has joined the Superior Health Foundation board of directors, representing Delta County and the south central U.P.

Peoples is Director of Business Services, Michigan Works Upper Peninsula, where she has worked in workforce and economic development since 1998, spanning roles from direct client service to board staff within the workforce investment system.

Peoples is certified by the Michigan Economic Developers Association and was a member of the inaugural class of Michigan's Certified Business Services Professionals. She also holds certification as a National Workforce Development Professional and a Professional in Human Resources Certification.

She has participated in the U.S. Department of Labor's National Business Learning Partnership as a mentor to South Central Virginia's Workforce Board and recently attended the Employment and Training Agency's Business Service Leadership workshop.

In her free time, Holly and her husband Paul enjoy traveling, cruising, dining out and laughing at their silly dog.

“I am honored to join the Superior Health Foundation Board and contribute to an organization that makes such a meaningful difference across the Upper Peninsula. Strong, healthy communities are essential to the well-being of our residents and the strength of our regional workforce. I look forward to working alongside the Foundation’s dedicated board members and partners to expand opportunities, address critical needs, and improve the quality of life for people throughout the U.P,” Peoples said.
