Superior Health Foundation's Fall Proactive Grant cycle application deadline approaching

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WBUP/WJMN) — Superior Health Foundation’s application deadline for their Fall Proactive Grant cycle is approaching on Wednesday, July 9.

The intent of this grant program which also runs in the spring is to provide funding for health-centered projects across the Upper Peninsula.

"We're looking for things that are related to behavioral health, substance use disorder services, maternal infant health, oral health, workforce development, fitness and wellness and food access, things like that," said Megan Murphy, CEO, Superior Health Foundation. "So, it's a pretty broad look at what's happening across the Upper Peninsula. We are really hoping to fund some impactful programs and some larger systems-based work."

Superior Health Foundation has about $375,000 available for this grant cycle. Proposals are maxed out at $75,000.
