Advancing U.P. Health
Purpose
The intent of the Community Health Pilot Grants is to provide funding for new organizations, new projects, and/or new programs designed to improve the well-being of the residents of the Upper Peninsula. Examples include, but are not limited to:
Developing new health education opportunities in a community or for a specific target population
Start-up costs for a new collaborative effort to address health issues in a community
Expansion of evidence-based programming into new communities
Piloting new, innovative solutions to address community health concerns
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Any tax-exempt organization based in or working in the Upper Peninsula to improve health outcomes in the region, with preference given to grassroots organizations, neighborhood groups, tribal communities, and small and medium-sized nonprofits.
Please note: Funds are not intended to be used for ongoing program or operations support.
