SHF Breast Health Fund Featured on My UP Now

For many Upper Peninsula residents, a breast cancer diagnosis brings financial strain alongside the medical challenges. Copays, deductibles, and travel to treatment outside the area can quickly add up, even for people with insurance.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, My UP Now featured the Superior Health Foundation Breast Health Fund in a segment on how the fund helps close that gap.

The Breast Health Fund provides direct financial assistance to U.P. residents who face breast health-related medical expenses not covered by insurance. Support is available at any stage, from diagnosis through treatment and recovery, and is open to both women and men.
