Superior Health Foundation distributes AEDs across the U.P.

Superior Health Foundation in Marquette is on their second year of spreading awareness peninsula-wide for cardiovascular related incidents. They’ve given many AEDs, automated external defibrillators, for facilities in need. In 2025 they passed out 30 AEDs. This year, they’re upping their game to 32.

In a situation where an AED is called for; a matter of mere seconds can make the world of difference. “We really wanted to make sure that AEDs are accessible across the Upper Peninsula,” said Megan Murphy, CEO of the Superior Health Foundation.
